We would like to congratulate Paris Reveira who recently represented Brunel at the London Student Entrepreneurship Competition. Students from a range of London universities presented their innovative ideas for a chance to win a £1,000 and £5000 prize.
Paris pitched her business idea, ‘That Good Hair’, to a panel of judges and to over 40 audience members. Her excellent pitch was rewarded by winning the audience vote named the ‘Vox Pop’ award. What a phenomenal achievement!
‘That Good Hair’ is an e-commerce business that allows customers to customise and personalise hair products. All aspects of the product can be personalised; from the smell and ingredients to the packaging. Her products offer a unique way to revolutionize hair care by giving consumers control and easy access to exactly what they want.
Paris has shown great determination and passion for her business. She travelled to London to pitch to a panel of judges straight after her final examination and has been participating in the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator alongside her studies to further progress the business.
Paris was awarded the ‘Vox Pop’ certificate accompanied by entrepreneurial books that can help her develop her business and skills. All of the competition entrants were awarded the opportunity to gain help and support from the 10 universities who all had something different to offer. Not only this, Paris has gained invaluable experience and is now ready to progress her business idea further. Well done Paris!
